When you set out to shoot a video, it's really important to understand the components that make it work.

To get more bang for you buck, you gotta have a great hook!  What is a hook - simple it's your unique selling proposition.

What is it that makes you stand out from the crowd?

What is it that hooks your potential clients in?

What is it you want to achieve in your life? Today is the day to BE your dream.

Ready Set ... Goal

I was shocked to learn in a recent goal setting seminar with business coach Marie Grigorian, that only 3% of people in the world set goals and that those 3% hold 98% of the wealth.   

Seriously? I like those odds. Following that logic, if you set goals and work towards them and hold yourself accountable (or better yet, find someone to whom you are accountable) then you have set yourself up to create wealth in your world.  

I don't know about you, but I want to be wealthy. So this week, take a few hours and set some goals for yourself. Where do you want to be in 1 month?  In 3 months? 1 year? 10 years? Have fun with this, let your imagination run free. 

Then sit down and map out a step by step plan and take actions daily to reach your goals! You'll be surprised how much you can achieve!

I am a HUGE fan of Star Wars. Some of my most important life lessons have been taught to me by Yoda. 

I remember when I first heard him say there was no such thing as trying. Luke Skywalker was failing miserably at lifting his X-wing fighter from a ginormous pond of ooze. 

"I'm trying," Skywalker said. "But it's too big, I can't do it."

Then Yoda taught him this valuable lesson -- 'Do or do not, there is no try." 

As entrepreneurs we can learn from Yoda. On the days when we feel stuck and overwhelmed by a challenge that seems too large for us to overcome, remember this simple lesson  ... to be successful, there is no trying allowed. Just do or do not.  

Focus, concentrate, and believe ... you have the power to make it happen!
